Master Calendar

The athletic department in conjunction with the civic engagement office has partnered with Special Olympics to host a track & field event here at Pioneer Stadium.  The event will be held Friday, May 3^rd between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and will feature athletes from at least five local schools (Hornell, Alfred-Almond, Jasper Troupsburg, Belfast, and Bath have committed).  We are expecting between 60-100 athletes to take part in events which we plan on making an annual event.

As we are in the planning stages of the event we would are looking for volunteers to help us execute the event.  Our student-athletes will be a major source of volunteers but we want to extend the volunteer opportunities to all students and to any faculty & staff members.

We hope to make this a special event for the Special Olympic athletes attending and a day they will not forget!
