In this theory and hands-on installations course, you will learn solar site analysis, design layout and installation of photovoltaic (PV) electric systems. This course leads a beginner student to an understanding of photovoltaic systems and their components and integration into the electrical systems of a utility (grid intertie) or off grid home. Learn basic PV system safety, systems overview and equipment operation as well as sighting for a PV system.
The NAPCEP entry-level PV Certificate of Knowledge exam will be offered following the class to those students who are interested on Jan. 12 at 8 a.m. The exam fee is not included in the registration fee for this course.
