The Hinkle Memorial Library Gallery on Alfred State’s campus is hosting Dave Dean’s first Solo Exhibit "Art by Dave Dean."
The exhibit will feature roughly 20 original Watercolor and acrylic paintings/lithograph and giclee prints by local artist, Dave Dean, of Bolivar, NY. Dave Dean is highly technical in his rendering of scenes from nature. “Ordinary places become extra-ordinary scenes under his masterful stoke” - biography.
Dean is joyful and passionate about painting and sharing his work. Dean participated in the 2012 Allegany Artisan Annual Studio Tour for the first time this October. His paintings and prints have appeared in several juried shows and he recently received awards for “Best in Show” and “People’s Choice.” Dave Dean approaches each painting with care and attention to detail, acquired through years of experimentation and practice.
